Project Description

The East-West Tie Transmission Line is a new approximately 430 km, 230 kV power line paralleling the existing corridor from Wawa to Thunder Bay, including a section through Pukaskwa National Park. The route crosses remote and difficult terrain, creating significant access, weather, and logistics requirements.
