Project Description

TULLOCH has supported a major integrated steel plant in Sault Ste. Marie through an ongoing program of civil, environmental, waterfront, and site infrastructure improvements across its approximately 1,600-acre industrial property.

The work addresses a wide range of operational and environmental priorities, from drainage and stormwater management to shoreline stabilization, erosion protection, site rehabilitation, and waterfront infrastructure. One major initiative includes the rehabilitation of approximately 4.1 km of shoreline along the St. Marys River to protect plant infrastructure from erosion and improve long-term stability.

TULLOCH has also contributed to the site’s multi-year environmental rehabilitation program, developing infrastructure and landscape improvements that address historical impacts while improving surface-water management and site conditions. The broader portfolio demonstrates TULLOCH’s ability to work within an active heavy-industrial environment and coordinate individual assignments as part of longer-term site planning and infrastructure renewal.
