Project Description

The Gagnon Road Bridge, originally built in 1930 as a single-lane cast-in-place concrete structure, was identified for full replacement following a 2023 OSIM inspection. Construction involved substantial pile lengths and a combination of precast and cast-in-place concrete components.

TULLOCH supported the project from Municipal Class Environmental Assessment through civil and structural design, surveys, environmental permitting and fish salvages, materials testing, contract administration, and on-site inspection. The new two-lane bridge was reopened to traffic in December 2025.
