Project Description
TULLOCH was retained to address flooding within the McNabb Street and Pim Street areas of Sault Ste. Marie. The work evaluated watershed hydrology, storm sewer capacity, overland drainage, environmental conditions, and geotechnical considerations to identify a preferred solution for recurring flooding.
The assignment progressed through environmental assessment, option evaluation, detailed design, tendering, contract administration, and construction inspection. The drainage improvements included a dry detention facility in an existing ravine and associated storm sewer upgrades designed to reduce flood risk for downstream areas.
