Project Description
The Town of Huntsville required a major update to its storm sewer infrastructure records, covering more than 2,000 structures across the municipal network.
TULLOCH completed field surveys and condition assessments, flushed and inspected sewer pipes, and developed a GIS-integrated asset management system to organize the resulting information. The new system gave Town staff a more practical way to access, update, and report on stormwater infrastructure while helping prioritize maintenance and repair needs.
The project also included a hardcopy field book for use by Public Works staff in the field. This combination of field verification, CCTV inspection, GIS mapping, and structured asset data improved long-term infrastructure management and supported broader municipal planning.
The project was recognized with an ACEC-Ontario Award for its problem-solving and data-driven approach to municipal infrastructure management.
