This past weekend, TULLOCH's Kevin Nott returned t This past weekend, TULLOCH's Kevin Nott returned to take on the 2025 Ride to Conquer Cancer alongside more than 4,400 riders. Riding with his son Tyler, cousin Jordan Underwood, and TULLOCH-alum Kevin Kortekaas, the "Quads for Days" team cycled over 200km from Toronto's Sherway Gardens to Niagara, climbing 1,200m along the way.

The Ride raises critical funds for Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the world's top cancer research institutions. For Kevin, this event holds special meaning. After a nine-year journey with colon cancer, including numerous rounds of chemotherapy and surgeries at Sault Area Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital, he has fought his way back to full health. Kevin is deeply grateful to the medical teams who made it possible for him to train and ride again.

Kevin's determination inspired an incredible outpouring of generosity. Thanks to the support of TULLOCH as a company, along with many colleagues, friends, and family members, Kevin raised $3,565 personally. As a team, "Quads for Days" surpassed their goal, contributing a total of $14,000. This year's event set a new fundraising record, securing $20.6 million for cancer research and bringing the event's 18-year total to more than $320 million.

Kevin extends his heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported him. He was inspired by the many messages and stories shared by TULLOCH colleagues across the company, reminding him — and all of us — how cancer has impacted so many lives and that when we ride, it's for everyone affected.

Congratulations to Kevin and the entire "Quads for Days" team for helping Carry The Fire and making a difference in the fight to conquer cancer!

Celebrating the Grand Opening of Calgary’s Ronal Celebrating the Grand Opening of Calgary’s Ronald McDonald House Expansion

Last month, the newly expanded Ronald McDonald House in Calgary officially opened its doors, marking the completion of the “Big Build” and nearly tripling its capacity for families in need.

TULLOCH was proud to partner with Westcor Construction to provide construction survey services, helping expand the facility from 27 to 91 private family suites, upgrade play areas, and create a larger, more accessible kitchen. Honourary Co-Chair and NHL legend Lanny McDonald led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

This project holds special significance for our team, as many have seen friends and family benefit from the comfort and care offered by Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Beyond our professional work, TULLOCH staff in Calgary have volunteered their time, served meals, donated toys, and contributed financially to support RMHC families through difficult times.

In recognition of our commitment to the community, a commemorative brick engraved with the TULLOCH name and message, along with a framed extra-large cheque reflecting our charitable donation, are now on display in the House.

Thank you to everyone on our Calgary team. Your hard work, dedication, and generosity have made a lasting impact for families facing challenging circumstances. TULLOCH is honoured to support RMHC’s mission to keep families together when they need it most.

Since 1925, ACEC has been the voice of consulting engineers in Canada, driving innovation, shaping the industry, and advocating for a profession built on excellence and integrity.
