Please join us in congratulating TULLOCH's Ryan Da Please join us in congratulating TULLOCH's Ryan Dagenais, P.Eng on officially earning his Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) licence with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO).

Ryan began his journey with TULLOCH several years ago as a summer student before joining full-time. Since then, he has honed his craft across multiple sectors within our Engineering team.

From Rainy River to Nanticoke and everywhere in between, he has experienced much of what the province has to offer while gaining valuable multidisciplinary experience along the way.

In recent years, Ryan has worked primarily with Brookfield Renewable, managing the complete lifecycle of civil engineering and dam safety projects. His work spans scope development, design, tendering, execution, and closeout, balancing technical precision with stakeholder needs to ensure every project meets the highest standards of quality, compliance, and budget control.

Congratulations, Ryan, on this incredible milestone. You should be proud. The future looks bright!

No matter what comes our way, our purpose helps us No matter what comes our way, our purpose helps us chart the path forward.

We recently caught up with TULLOCH's Chief Operating Officer, Rocky Annett, to talk about the importance of creating alignment around our purpose and the intent behind it.

At TULLOCH, we want to build an organization where everyone loves their job and their leaders care for them.

Inevitably, tides change and winds shift, but one thing remains constant: our commitment to caring for our team. Our purpose is our compass, guiding how we adapt, lead, and always find a way, together.

Stay tuned for more clips from our sit-down with Rocky.

TULLOCH is proud to support the multi-phase Rankin Arena Modernization in Batchewana First Nation, the community’s most prominent gathering place for sport, recreation, cultural programming, and events.

Check out these renderings from our long-time project partner and architect, IDEA Inc.

The design for the reimagined facility features a warm material palette with natural elements such as wood, copper, and stone. Soft edges and circular forms symbolize wholeness, unity, and infinity, while the interconnected lobby spaces are intentionally designed to promote gathering and community.

TULLOCH’s scope of services includes:
• Structural design and review of building upgrades
• Civil design and municipal servicing improvements
• Geotechnical investigations and reporting
• Topographic surveys
• Construction inspections and quality assurance
• Materials testing for concrete, soils, and granular materials
• Designated Substances Surveys

The modernization will improve energy efficiency, accessibility, safety, and long-term operational sustainability.

“The Rankin arena has served not only our First Nation’s members but the broader hockey community along the North Shore for over five decades. We are grateful for the federal investment to modernize the Rankin Arena and allow this tradition to continue.”

Earlier this month, TULLOCH’s Contract Administr Earlier this month, TULLOCH’s Contract Administration team was part of the full deck placement on the Highway 11 ONR Bridge replacement in Earlton.

This 9-span post-tensioned structure requires a considerable amount of concrete, supported by falsework, until the internal cables can be tensioned to support the deck. It's a rare bridge type that requires specialty expertise. The continuous concrete placement began early in the morning of October 1 and ran straight through until the morning of October 3, with 141 loads of concrete placed successfully. The operation went extremely well thanks to seamless coordination among all project partners.

TULLOCH has been serving as the Contract Administration team on this project for the past two years, overseeing construction quality, safety, scheduling, documentation, and communication. This milestone project is another example of Consultants, Contractors, and the MTO working together to improve our provincial infrastructure.

We’re proud to see TULLOCH’s Jeff Miller featu We’re proud to see TULLOCH’s Jeff Miller featured in the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation's Annual Report, sharing his inspiring story of resilience and gratitude.

At just 35 years old, Jeff survived three serious medical emergencies. Thanks to the swift, expert care and advanced technology at the North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC), Jeff received life-saving treatment that set him on the road to recovery. Today, he continues to thrive by returning to endurance sports, sharing his story, and organizing The Voyageur 200, a gravel cycling event that raises funds to support local healthcare.

“I owe so much to NBRHC,” Jeff says. “Without their care, I honestly don’t think I’d be here today.”

TULLOCH’s North Bay team has been a long-time supporter of the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation (NBRHCF) through events like The Voyageur 200 and the Osprey Links Charity Gala, which raised more than $90,000 this year to help purchase new transport ventilators for NBRHC. These vital devices support patients of all ages across the hospital and throughout the community.

At TULLOCH, our community commitment extends well beyond providing dependable professional services. We believe in taking an active role in fostering long-lasting partnerships and strengthening the communities where we live and work. Access to timely and efficient healthcare affects all of us, and by supporting local healthcare institutions, we help build resilient and sustainable communities across Northern Ontario.

Jeff’s next initiative is the 100 km Run Challenge for Heart & Stroke, where he’s raising funds to help Heart & Stroke achieve their mission of saving lives and improving heart health across Canada. Every donation, big or small, makes a difference.
