Project Description

EDP Renewables retained TULLOCH in 2018 to complete geotechnical site investigations for the proposed Sharp Hills Wind Project near Consort, Alberta. The work evaluated subsurface conditions for turbine foundations and supporting infrastructure, including a substation, operations and maintenance building, laydown areas, and access roads.

Testing was designed to inform shallow and deep foundation recommendations, low-volume road design, and installation of overhead and underground collection and transmission cables.
