The Pearson Plaza Site Preparation Project was completed for the Corporation of the City of Elliot Lake, in the District of Algoma. The project included design, tender preparation, contract administration and inspections for the grading and site servicing of the new plaza development lot. The project included excavation of approximately 19,000cu.m. of earth, 77,000cu.m. of rock, 2,100sq.m. of vertical rock face, 2,400sq.m. of retaining wall, and 140m of main line storm sewer. Sanitary sewer and watermain services were extended to property line for future considerations by the developer.

Project design and tender was completed under an aggressive timeline of four weeks beginning in September of 2012, with groundbreaking in October 2012. Throughout construction, design changes requested by the developer were accommodated, with construction continuing throughout the winter and completion in the fall of 2013. Total construction costs of approximately $4,200,000.
